With notebooks becoming even more and more powerful in terms of performance, it may soon just be chosen by consumers as a viable option to buying a full desktop PC. Notebooks after all, have the advantage in mobility that desktop PC’s do not offer. The new Gigabyte Booktop M2432 Notebook may just be the a good example.

The new Gigabyte Booktop M2432 Notebook features an Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD 3000 graphics, and full I/O ports which includes USB 3.0 support for a complete desktop PC experience. It comes with a 14 inch LED backlight display. The notebook comes at 27.6 mm thick and weighs around 1.8kg.

This notebook also comes with an innovative docking station that allows it to offer full level desktop experience. There is a built-in NVIDIA GT 440 GPU with 1GB VRAM DDR5 that comes with the docking station to provide desktop level graphic performance for your notebook. It also contains full I/O ports which includes 6 USB ports, HDMI, D-Sub, and DVI ports among others. The Gigabyte Booktop M2432 Notebook was recently introduced at Computex 2011 held in Taiwan this week. No information has yet been provided as to this notebook’s availability as well as pricing in the market.
