When asked if the real-life couple discussed and planned the scenes before filming, Pattinson told MTV: Nah, you just get lubed up and jump right into it.
‘You kind of have to have some tantric breathing and stuff,’ he added.
The actor then turned serious, admitting: ‘Everyone always says sex scenes in movies are really awkward… but it is. You’re playing Twister.’
But despite the challenges of filming sex scenes with Stewart, the heartthrob said he would be keen to work with his real-life girlfriend again.
‘I’d love to, yeah definitely,’ Pattinson said at Comic-Con.
‘I don’t know how audiences respond to it or whatever but I don’t really care, I’d love to.’
The fourth instalment of the Twilight Saga has been split into two parts, with Breaking Dawn Part I set to be released in November.
